Abstract: Islam ruled Andalucia for eight centuries during which Arabs Iaid the foundations of a great civilization. Andalucia became the bridge on which the Arabic culture crossed to Europe. When conflicts and domestic differences spread, the nation split up and became too weak to stop the Christian attacks in the north of the island. However the Arabic cultural heriage remained as a witness of the Arabic mental talent represented in various fields of Knowledge. Hence research work should reveal those distinguished masters of literature and their precious treasures. Ibn Zomrak was of those masters who marked an important stage out in the history of Arabic thought in Andalucia during a critical period of a threating collapse. He lived in the first half of the eighth Higri century and became one the distinguished people of the cultural movement in Grenada where litrary life flourished despite the deteriorated political conditions and the retraction of Arabic rule and the fall of the big bases in Andalucia. Ibn Zomrak was one of the Andalusi poest hose poetry was characterized by Keebing the inherited from and exploring new ideas , meanings, and images. He was one of many other poets whose potry needs to be exblored and revealed to readers to establish one pillar in the Andalusi studies. This study attempts to shed light on one of the poets of Andalucia whose poetry was scattered out in various Andalusi and east and west Arabic countries. The study collected, analyzed and verified his poetry and put it in its proper place among the poetry of his contempoatry great poets such as Ibn Elkhateeb, Ibn khatima, Abi - El - Bakaa, as he had a great aristic talent of writing poetry. The study is made up of an introduction, four chapters, and a con clusion. The introduction deals with the poet's evvironment which represents the geographical, political, cultural and constructional aspects of Granada; the birthplace of lbn Zomrak, and all of its surroundings such as hills, mountains, rivers, gardens, etc. In the introduction l referred to the policy adopted at home and abroad and the treaties of reconciliation and and friendship between the Kingdom of Granada and its neighboring countries. part of the inteduction tackled the conflicts among the members of the ruling family and the political relationships between the Kingdom Granada and the friendly Kingdom of Morocco ( Kingdom of Bani Mareen ) and the enemy Christion Kingdom of Castilla and Argoon. Then I dealt with the cultural environment and the literary development as a result of Bani Nasr's encouraging of a group of distinguished poets, thinkers, linguists, scientists, and doctors and the establishing of Yousofiya School and recruiting the best qualified teachers for it
