Abstract:
An experimental study was conducted to evaluate the effect of AL - coholic extracts which includes terpenoids ,alkalines and flavonoides of Cordia myxa leaves on some biological aspect of lesser grain borer Rhyzopertha dominica ;including Eggs , fourth larval stage, pupal stage of 24 h age . and effect high concentration 8% of Alcoholic extract(Terpenoid,alkaloid and flavonoid) extracts on capability mating for treatment adults at 24 and 120 h ages. Also study the effect of Alcoholic extracts on the percentage of repellent ,and attraction by using Chemotropometer . Finally the effect of Alcholic extraction of percentage rice seed germination ( AL - Yasemean variety) has been evaluated. The resulted indicated; using 8% terpenoids extracts causing an increasing mortality in eggs to 93.33%, 86.66% in fourth larval stage and 63.33% in pupal stage of 24 h age, On the other hand 8% of extract has influencig on the rate of eggs production and hatch percentage of adult, So in 24 hrs ages, not production of eggs, has been observed ,by mating of treated male and female ,and also mating un treated male with treated female a lowest percentage of egg hatch 33.33% has been obtained in mating of treated male with un treated female in 24 and 120 hrs ages respectively, while, no eggs laying in case of mating un treated male with treated female.Using alkaline extracts of 8% , the study has been shown clear effect of failed in eggs hatching, and increased in mortality rate for fourth larval stage 93.3% ,while the effect of pupal stage to 66.66% for 24h age.White the effect of extract at 8% concentration for treatment adults ,no eggs laying when mating occur between treated male with treated female , and mating between un treated male with female of 24ages. A lower percentage of 25% hatching was recorded in mating treated male with un treated female .In 120hrs age, the rate of eggs production was zero when mating, treated male with treated female . as well as , a lowest percentage of eggs hatching was zero% showing , when mating between un treated male and treated female.In the same maner the study has been indicated clear effect for flavonoids extracts in life aspect of insect, therefore the higher percentage 86.6% of mortality in eggs in concentration 8%, in the same concentration gave 56.66% mortality of treated fourth larval stage ,also percentage mortality for pupal stage 43.3% at age 24h. Adult treatment with higher concentration 8% has influence effect one rate of eggs and their hatching in case of mating un treated male with treated female in two ages (24 - 120 hrs), this rate leads to decrease the average of age for male and female and the average number of egg that laying by treatment female was 0%. The results were showed that effect of AL - coholic extracts of the Cordia myxa in repellent and attraction , so the attract was 0% for all extracts and concentration. The higher percentage of repellent was 40% recorded by using terpenoids extracts in concentration of 8%, followed by alkaline extracts at the same concentration reach to 20% , in other hand there was no any percentage of repellent for flavonoids extract. Finally terpenoids ,flavonoids and alkalines extraction in concentration 4% ,6% has no effect on rice seed germination.
