Abstract:
The present study aims at knowing the effectiveness of an educational program by using modern techniques to develop comprehension for slow learning pupils through the following objectives : 1. Diagnosing the slow learning in reading comprehension.2. Preparing an educational program using modern techniques to develop reading comprehension for slow learning pupils.3. Knowing the effect of the educational program using modern techniques to develop reading comprehension for slow learning pupils.In the light of that objective the following zero hypotheses : - There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) ranks among the middle grades members of the experimental group on the reading comprehension test before and after the application of the program. - There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) ranks among the middle grades members of the control group to test reading comprehension in the pre and post tests. - There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) ranks among the middle grades members of the experimental group and the average grade scores of the control group to test reading comprehension in the post test.4 - Knowing the effectiveness of educational program using modern techniques to develop reading comprehension for slow learning pupils.In the light of that objective the following zero hypotheses was formulated : - There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the scores of the experimental group in the posttest and test the iterative month after the post - test application.To achieve the objective of the study, the researcher prepared an educational program using modern techniques to develop reading comprehension for slow learning pupils according to classification of (Durkin and Dolores; 1995). The test was applied on a sample consisting of 22 pupils (slow learners) who exist in the schools includes in the sample in four schools (Al - shafaq - Al - Azziziya - Al - Imar - and Al - Abid). They were divided into two groups; one is experimental (11) pupils, and a control group (11) pupils. The program was applied by using the modern techniques in Al - Shafaq School as four lessons per weeks starting from 29/6/2016 to 17/3/2016. The data were analyzed and treated statistically using difficulty equation, distinction equation, Kudor - Richardson equation 20, Mann - Whitney test, Point Byserle correlation coefficient, Kolmogorov - Semerenov test, the adjusted acquisition coefficient of Blake, and came out to the following findings : - There are statistically - significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) ranks among the middle - grades of the experimental group in the pre and post tests and the teams for the post - test. - There are no statistically - significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) ranks among the middle - grades students of control group in reading comprehension in the pre and post tests. - There are statistically - significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) ranks among the middle - grades of the experimental group and the average grades Order control group in reading comprehension in the post - test, and that the difference in favor of the experimental group. - There are no statistically - significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) ranks among the middle - grades of the experimental group in reading comprehension tests in the posttest and iterative.In the light of that the researcher comes out to a number of recommendations and suggestions such as : Recommendations : the researcher recommends that the educational personnel in the special education use the educational program using modern techniques used in this study in order to develop reading comprehension for slow learning students.Suggestions : The researcher suggests making a similar experimental research on other group of the special educational groups who suffer from weak comprehension.
