Abstract: The electricity considers one of the most important scientific discoveries as considered vital element for serve most of everyday human needs, It is the most important factor Investigating the social, economical , The main target of recent study is to submit planned bases to adjust thePlanning Guidelines of electrical power generation station. In view of study the side effect of its apply in Bagdad city,and through the studying hypothesis which says : To recognize the importance of indicators and factors in the planing location power plants Especially in the organization charts of cities It contributes to the alleviation of the negative effects of the existence of electric station The locations are not subject to the indicators and factors planing, The study include three parts, the first part came in two sections ,the first section include the electrical energy services , the impact of the electricity sector in spatial , economic development, and forward and backward linkages to the electric power industry and their uses in Iraq and load, Section two include electrical Power generation and spatial effects tackles to sign electric power stations through a review of the power plants used globally Including thermal power plants,gas, and nuclear and renewable energy technology such as solar, wind, and the statement of the advantages , disadvantages of each of them , their characteristics , environmental impacts resulting from the Spatial location of the electric power stations, spatial effects through the spatial dimension , the economic , social impacts, and the second chapter addressed Spatial location electric power plants by collecting and unifying factors Spatial location factors. The third chapter three sections included the first part, the Spatial location for power plants in the province of Baghdad and distribution factors The second section include spatial application for thermal electrical station south baghdad and gas station with all their spatial technical and environmental details.The third section include efficiency test for spatial application for these two stations through their comparision with the set Factors depending on developed way by Dr.Mohammed Al - ani.In goals achievements matrix which was nearest to potential analysis style which likely secondary factors. To reach the study's conclusions, the most important, not to adopt indicators and factors fixed adopted for Spatial location of Electrical Station, The most important recommendations when the need for signature by traditional power plants rely on fossil fuels, should considering all factors, indicators and determinants that go into the Spatial location of these stations as well as orientation towards alternative energy
