Accordingly, the researcher conducted a exploratory study to know the opinions of directors dramatists about their excretory work and its relationship with the psychology of childhood Stated the researcher, In establishing the problem his research on the results of those exploratory study where identified the problem in follows wondering : Is there a functional approaches between the work of theatrical director and the psychology of childhood in theatrical shows for children at the Baghdad governorate theaters?Summarized the importance of the current research in that it will highlight on nature of the procedures and the means and methods which must on the theatrical director followed and which are not inconsistent with the scientific results of the psychology of childhood and consistent with Occurred developments in this side, therefore the, This research may contribute to the development of children's theater in Iraq. The current research aims to : 1 - detection of functional approaches between the work of the director in the field of children's theater and the psychology of childhood. 2 - building standards for the work of theater director in the field of children's theater, according to the psychology of childhood. The research community consist of the two axes, first : the directors who provided theatrical performances addressed for children, who are (25) way out theatrically, the second : limited by their offers theatrical presented on the stages the city of Baghdad for the period between 2003 to 2013 thus the researcher choose a random sample from each axis of axis above and chose eight shows for eight Directors. dramatists and To achieve the objectives of the research was to build two tools to gather information, the first was represented (form interview directors) and included in its final form (38) question, addressed by the researcher to (12) director from the community members the his current search, The second was represented (form analysis offers) and included in its final form (31), paragraph adopted a researcher at his analysis of the sample offers, were subjected the two tools to the conditions of validity and reliability depending on the statistical means of the following : - Equation (Holsti) to calculate the reliability coefficient. - The percentage to calculate validity the vertebrae the analysis form.The results showed that the Iraqi director in the field of children's theater has approached his job directorial somewhat psychology of childhood, The weakness that Permeated some sides of his work was offset by strength in other sides and the decline in the balance of paragraphs that appear in some of the presentations was offset by a clear rise in other offers. Researcher reached to a set of conclusions including : - The psychology of childhood from the most important fields of psychology Which must the theatrical director who works in the field of children's theater to familiarity with it and get to know the details and relied upon in his directorial job To be eligible for the achievement of the objectives of the Children's Theatre through investment its scientific truths that he Provided it to them. - Varies Directors, dramatists who working in the field of children's theater in the extent of their investment for scientific facts (psychological) and inspiration it the when doing their jobs directorial for cemented their presentations the play. The researcher recommended in some of the recommendations, including : - Focus on Teaching Material (Child Psychology) and increase the hours of its shares of study in the colleges and institutes of fine arts, especially departments of art education. - Inclusion of all children without exception scenes play through a project sponsored by the Ministry of Education or the Ministry of Culture covers all governorates of Iraq to devote love theatrical art in children and improve aesthetic they feel.The researcher suggested conducting some studies, including : - Mechanisms of action of the director in Children's Theatre according to psychological processes of simple for children
