Abstract:
The research studied the analysis of the economic structure of Tikrit and showed its economic capacity, to provide an important information and analytic database needed by the decision and policy makers when they plan to develop the economics of the city (Tikrit). Some regional economic methods have been used in the analysis process such as economic base, location quotation, and shaft share methods since these methods can give more precision results for the planners.The main problem is the lack of most of the cities and provinces including Tikrit to sufficient economic studies shows the economic reality, specialty, the variety, the consumption industries, the production industries, for domestic consumption and export … etc. and determine the economic base of the city; whether its agricultural, industrial or tourism.Aim : The aim of the research is to analysis the economic reality of Tikrit using some important analytical methods such as economic base, location quotation, and shaft share methods, those methods can take part in analyzing the economic structure of Tikrit and show its economic capacity to give an indicators needed by the decision makers to improve the local and regional economic reality, and determine the essence of technical ways that can improve the analysis method, and the modality of using those methods in the analysis of the local economics.Hypothesis : the research is analysis the economic structure of Tikrit using regional quantity methods which have more accurate and clear results and can help in scientific and realistic analysis, and can also help to predict the future accurately, and this can help to make more reasonable plans.Research end up with few conclusions, the most important one that every work chance in 1987 in the province level at the base sector generates 1.3 work chance at the non - base sector, while at 2011 it generates 1.9 work chance at the non - base sector.On city level (Tikrit) every work chance in 1987 in the province level at the base sector generates 1.3 work chance at the non - base sector, while at 2011 it generates 2 work chance at the non - base sector.On the economic activities level Tikrit has higher level in health and education sectors than other districts in salahuddin province.
