Abstract:
تعتبر ليندا هوغان واحدة من الكاتبات الامريكيات المعاصرات . وتركز هوغان بشكل رئيس على حياة المراة الامريكية وعلاقتها بالطبيعة, والبيئة, كمادة رئيسة في كتاباتها . كما وتركز هوغان في اغلب اعمالها على حياة النساء من السكان الاصليين في محاولة لتسليط الضوء على كفاحهن من اجل المحافظة على ثقافتهن وابرازها للعالم . تعتبر هذه الاطروحة محاولة لتقديم قراءة بيئية - نسوية من خلال تحليل روايتين معاصرتين للكاتبة هوغان, وهما : العواصف الشمسية (1995) والقوة (1998). وتناقش الاطروحة العلاقة المتبادلة بين المراة والطبيعة. كما انها تركز على استعراض التاريخ المشترك من الظلم والاستغلال والسيطرة للمراة والطبيعة من قببل النظام الذكوري. تقع الدراسة في ثلاثة فصول وخاتمة . الفصل الاول هو مقدمة تقع في مبحثين يتضمن المبحث الاول تقديم تعريف واضح لمصطلح النسوية الايكولوجية , وكذلك اعطاء خلفية لجذور هذه الحركة وكيف تطورت مع مرور الوقت . اما المبحث الثاني فيعطي سيرة قصيرة لحياة الروائية ليندا هوغان ويركز على اهم التجارب التي اثرت في كتاباتها ونظرتها للطبيعة . يتناول الفصل الثاني رواية هوغان : "العواصف الشمسية" حيث يركز هذا الفصل على العلاقة بين المراة والطبيعة , مع التركيز على اوجه التشابه بين ظلم الانسان للطبيعة والنساء . وكذلك يلق الضوء على اهمية الاراضي الطبيعية باعتبارها قوة للشفاء لكثير من الافراد . ويناقش الفصل الثالث رواية هوغان : "القوة" اذ يدرس العلاقة بين الحيوانات والطبيعة والمراة من خلال استكشاف التقاليد الثقافية وتاريخ القبائل الامريكية الاصلية. كما يلقي الضوء على قيمة الحيوانات بالنسبة للقبائل باعتبارها جزء مهم من هذا العالم وذلك من خلال اظهار نقاط التشابه بين المراة والحيوان لما لهما من دور قيم في التضحية بانفسهم من اجل تحقيق التوازن والترابط في العالم. وتلخص الخاتمة النتائج التي وصلت اليها الرسالة. | Linda Hogan is considered one of the most significant contemporary Native American women writers. Hogan concentrates mainly on Native American life as well as issues concerning women, nature, environment, and tribal history as major themes in her writings. In almost all of her works, Hogan focuses on the lives of Native American women in an attempt to shed light on their struggles to bring their culture to light. This thesis is an attempt to present an ecofeminist reading of two contemporary novels by Hogan : Solar Storms (1995) and Power (1998). The study discusses the interrelationship between women and nature. It focuses on the shared history of oppression, domination, and exploitation of women and nature by the patriarchal system. The study falls into three chapters and a conclusion. Chapter One is introductory. It is divided into two sections. Section One attempts to present a clear cut definition of ecofeminism, giving background to its roots and how it developed with time. Section Two gives a short biography of the novelist, emphasizing the major important experiences that have affected her writings and views of nature. Chapter Two deals with Hogan's novel, Solar Storms. The emphasis of this chapter lies mainly on the connection between women and nature, giving emphasis to the similarities between the oppression of nature and women. It also sheds light on the importance of landscape as being a healing power for many of the individuals. Chapter Three discusses Hogan's novel, Power. It attempts to analyze the interrelationship between women and animals by exploring the cultural traditions and history of the Native American tribes. It also sheds light on the value of the animals as being important part of the world by showing the similarities between them and women. Both have valuable role in sacrificing themselves for the sake of world's balance and interconnectedness.The conclusion sums up the findings of the study
