Abstract: The Aims of the research is explained as the following : 1 - The degree of academic procrastination for fifth preparatory grade students.2 - The degree of temperamental styles for fifth preparatory grade students.3 - Correlation between academic procrastination and temperamental styles : a) Extraversion VS Introversionb) sensation VS Intuitionc) Thinking VS Feelingd) Judging VS Perceiving for4 - Correlation differentiation between academic procrastination and temperamental styles for fifth preparatory grade students (gender : males, and females and branch : literary and science)5 - The degree of contribution for temperamental styles in academic procrastination means the degree academic procrastination with temperamental styles.For achieving the goals of the research, the scholar depends on the theory of (Ellis & knous,1977) in academic procrastination , (keirsey , 1978) temperamental styles whereas the scholar translated and prepared the measurement of academic procrastination as well as the scholar depends on Keirsey , 1978 which was prepared by Abdah , 1987 for measuring temperamental styles , and the scholar concluded the characteristic of psychometric measuring.It has found a clear validity for measuring via exposing them for committee of specialized Judges in psychological science adding theCstructural validity through finding the recognition power for each item of measuring items and finding the relationship among the items by total degree for measuring. The scholar concluded reliability by using test & retest method and Alpha coefficient for internal consistency for both measuring in its final form using 400 students in daylight preparatory schools which belongs for DG of Education in Babel. The data has been processed by SPSS. After statistical analysis, the scholar got the following results : 1 - Research Sample for those who have no academic procrastination.2 - There is a statistical differentiation between individual sample of the research on the scale extraversion & Introversion for Extraversion scale , thinking & feeling for thinking , sensation & feeling For sensation and judging & perceiving for judging.3 - There is a statistical correlation relationship between (thinking, sensation, judging)and academic procrastination, while there is no correlations between extraversion and academic procrastination.4 - There are no statistical differentiation in the relationship between academic procrastination and temperamental styles according to gender (males, Females) and branch (science - literary).5 - Temperamental styles (introversion, thinking, sensation, judging) contribute in academic procrastination.The research come out number of recommendations and suggestions .
