Abstract: تكمن اهمية البحث في اعداد نواة فريق بجمناستك الاعاقة العقلية البسيطة وبالتالي يتم مشاركة هذا الفريق في المحافل الدولية، اما مشكلة البحث فتكمن في ان هناك انعدام في وجود مناهج خاصة برياضة الجمناستك في المعاهد الخاصة برعاية المعاقين عقليا وعدم الاهتمام من | An important factor to consider in this research is how to build a structure of teaching the mentally disabled, to use their skills on gymnastic equipments. of an equal importance is, how to deal with the lack of special gymnastic programmes and institutions and the lack of attention paid by the Iraqi Olympic Organization.1. Suggest an educational curriculum for the mentally disabled using some floor exercises and a vaulting horse for less complicated disability.2. Analysing the effect of the suggested programme on the less complicated disabled.3. Getting to know the rate of stamina for the members of the sample disabled and their reaction on the floor exercises as well as the vaulting horse.The Hypotheses of the Study1. That the suggested programme would effect positively on teaching and developing some skills of the simple floor exercises and the vaulting horse.2. There are essential differences between "the before versus the after" statistics for the after value of course.3. There are essential differences between the three measures above of the sample examined by the researcher and for the interest of the third one.4. There are statistic differences between "the after" measure and "the measure of stamina" for the members of the sample studied and for the interest of "the after".The Fields of the StudyHuman : the research consisted of eight children at the age of 8 - 11 of simply mentally disabled,males with a capacity of 7 - 9 years old,from The Special Institution of Mentally Disabled in Qudsiya/Damascus.Duration : From the 19th. February. 2008/ Tuesday till 7th. July. 2008/ MondayPlace : The games Hall of the Special Mentally Disabled Institution in Damascus, The gymnastic Hall of Al - Ja’laa sport city/ Al - Mazza Stadium.Regarding the theoritical study,the researcher discussed the teaching/ learning theories and the movement theory and its phases. Furthermore, the disability, especially the mental one and its reasons, types, features, classifications and how to stop or prevent it.The researcher tried to give a study about the importance of sports,the aim and the role played by the Olympic Organizations of special needs.The research displays the similar studied concerning the same subject.As for the procedures : the experimental strategy was followed as it is appropriate for the subject discussed,the sample of the research consisted of (8 - 11) children from the institution mentioned above,chosen on the age - based strategy. The educational curriculum proposed for these children who have never practised any gymnastic exercises,with a length of (80) educational units in (80) minutes for five educational units a week.Before start point, there was a measurement and after each (20) units, there was a between - measurement for three times during the whole experimental approach.After finishing the procedures required with the (80) units, there was a so called the after - measurement process.Having achieved the first step, the researcher checked the skills stamina of the children in the same time and place circumstances.And after analysing the statistics the researcher concluded the following : 1. The amazing abilities the disabled have in learning skills ,especially open jumping, closing jumping, turning a somersault on the floor, side balancing.2. The disabled cannot learn the cartweel as fast as the norm since these skills need time and other qualities like strength and stamina.3. The credibility of the exercises, their multiplicity, repetition, partition and graduaism from the easy to the hard in acquiring skills.4. The effect of using the working strategy to "learn" and the educational system which had a positive role in teaching the members of the sample chosen.5. The effect of the testing during the educational units in learning skills and supporting the effect on developing the children, then correcting mistakes, if any.6. The effect on the competition on enhancing the children activity towards learning new skills.7. The positive role of music on children and their spirits.8. There were some absent - minded feature among children, especially in jumping exercises.As a result of the points mentioned above, the researcher would recommend the following : 1. To use duration testing as it is useful in developing movement skills,then watching/examining carefully.2. More repetition as forgeting is a major feature here.3. Emphasizing the strategy of "working for learnig" and the educational/practice system and its importance in developing skills to reach the desire of the disabled child to learn,play and move.4. Having more experiments on more gymnastic devices for the same category of mentally disabled
