تتاثر الانجازات الفنية عادة بحسب نوعية البنية الثقافية للعصر والخطاب الذي تبثه هذه الثقافة ذلك ان الحضارات القديمة ارسلت بلاغها عبر منجزاتها , ولما للفخار من اهمية قصوى ورغم ارتباطه بدا بالنفعية الا ان سطحه اصبح فيما بعد نصا مقروءا متناميا فيه ال | The Artistic achievements are usually stirred according to the cultural structure of the generation age and the message conveyed by the culture , the ancient civilizations ceramic is thus crucially important and beneficial , However it has had readable surface with growing aesthetic a wariness, Methods of ceramic figures building have developed and varied , bringing out figure system , thus decorations by all kinds covered ceramic surfaces with symbolic indications , These creations reflected the spirit of the ages and through stages a solid base of original civilization was founded which have enable contemporary arabistic to develop their free intellectual views. The aesthetic sense has crockery during the Balioarteological ages inspite of the beneficial purposes of crockery , the ceramic artists could decorate their ceramic objects with particular engraves. which have inspired the contemporary artists. Some works of contemporary artistes are distinguished by making ceramic figures on ceramic surface.The monographic of this study aims at explaining the conception of the aesthetic system producing the ceramic body. Doing so enable us to enrich the knowledge medium with the research thesis ( The Aesthetics of Decoration Figures In Contemporary Iraqi Ceramics ). This research paper includes for basic chapters.The first chapter is concerned with the research main issue , importance , and need. It aims to identify the decorative figures in the contemporary ceramics and fined related terms and definitions.The second chapter is related to the theoretical frame it's result and results of previous studies. This chapter is further concerned with four topics. The first topic is intended to study the aesthetic philosophy ; the second one is about history entrance on ceramics art , the third topic is about shape and the fourth one id about history of decoration.Chapter three is concerned with procedures of the research using descriptive and analytic style. The research selection includes works of some ceramic artists during a limited time.The research sample includes ( 25 ) ceramic works chosen from the original selection in an intentional way. Chapter four is concerned with the statement of important results as follows : 1. Shapes balance in terms of contents and units on ceramic surface which showed aesthetic appearance. This created stability state result from the balanced ceramic works in addition to color harmony and mass balance.2. Among the aesthetic characteristics of ceramic components are the symmetrical decorative shapes which symmetrically depend on both ' X ' and ' Y ' axes.3. Ceramic figures beauty is made prominent by repetition characteristic in which units and items are related closely by drawing ceramic items repeatedly with out change.4. The Arabic letter appeared to be elegant with an arranged position with other letters , especially when it is used as a decorative figure in the contemporary ceramic. Therefore the ceramic artist manipulated the letter in two ways : Firstly , calligraphy was done with recognized script rules but in an occasionally repeated letter shapes and drawings. The letter was also drawn in a way so that repletion and symmetry were clearly apparent.In the second way , the letter was drawn and made with free - script rules.5. The geometrical elements decorative shapes with arrangements , symmetry , repletion , balanced and counter linear relations among them contributed to clear manifestation of the aesthetic aspect of the contemporary ceramics. The decorative construction of items was represented by triangles , rectangles , squares and circles
