Abstract:
نال موضوع الاسلوبية اهتماما" كبيرا" في السنوات الاخيرة من قبل اللغويين،محللي النصوص ونقاد الادب ، وهذا بدوره دعى المتخصصين في الدراسات الادبية الى تطبيق المناهج التي تعتمدها الاسلوبية في دراسة النصوص الادبية . تناولت الدراسة الحالية ثلاث من قصص همنغواي القصيرة وتهدف الى بيان الخصائص المميزة لاسلوبه وهي تلال تشبه فيلة بيضاء ، قطة في المطر ، مكان مضاء جيدا" ونظيف، فضلا" عن ذلك فانها تهدف الى بيان اثر استخدام بعض الادوات اللغوية في اسلوب كاتب القصة القصيرة . تفترض الدراسة ان همنغواي يستخدم بعض الادوات اللغوية والاسلوبية فضلا" عن استخدام تقنيات السرد الاخرى في كتابة القصة القصيرة والتي تميز اسلوبه في الكتابة . تقع الدراسة الحالية في اربعة فصول . يتناول الفصل الاول الذي يشكل مقدمة البحث عرضا" موجزا" لطبيعة المشكلة،وفرضيات البحث،واهدافه،كما يوجز الحدود التي يقف عندها البحث،ومادته،ومنهجه،واهميته . يهدف الفصل الثاني الى تقديم عرض للادبيات المتوفرة حول موضوع الاسلوبية . كما يبحث علاقة الاسلوبية بالنقد الادبي ، وكذلك يقدم بعض مناهج التحليل الاسلوبي لنصوص النثر بهدف تبني منهج للتحليل في الفصل اللاحق . فضلا" عن ذلك فان الفصل الثاني يستعرض عناصر القصة القصيرة والخصائص الاسلوبية لطريقة همنغواي في الكتابة .اما الفصل الثالث فيمثل تحليلا" لغويا" واسلوبيا" لثلاث من قصص همنغواي القصيرة من خلال تطبيق الاصناف اللغوية والاسلوبية في منهج . Leech and Short (1981) وفي الفصل الرابع ، فان الدراسة تقدم عرضا" موجزا" لاهم النتائج التي افرزها التحليل اللغوي والاسلوبي في الفصل السابق . فضلا" عن تقديمها مجموعة من التوصيات التي من المعتقد ان تكون مفيدة للطلبة المتعلمين للغة الانكليزية كلغة اجنبية وفيما ياتي اهم الاستنتاجات التي توصلت اليها الدراسة : 1. يستخدم همنغواي طرق عرض الكلام والافكار كوسيلة لتنويع وجهة نظره ،اتجاهه،وبعده عن النص .2. يستخدم همنغواي الطرق المباشرة في عرض الكلام اكثر من الطرق غير المباشرة .وفي هذا الصدد فان الكلام الحر غير المباشر هو الوسيلة الاكثر شيوعا" عند ابطال همنغواي من بين الطرق غير المباشرة .3. بالرغم من كون اسلوب همنغواي يبدو سهلا" فانه فعال وتعزى هذه الفاعلية الى استخدامه لبعض الادوات الاسلوبية وتقنيات السرد .4. يستخدم همنغواي الكلمات الدليلية لغرض احداث تاثير معين على القارئ .5. يستخدم همنغواي تكوين الصورة الامامية في قصصه القصيرة كوسيلة لجعل بعض التفاصيل اكثر ظهورا" للعيان .6. تستخدم تقنية الملاحظ المباشر في السرد بشكل واسع في قصص همنغواي . | In recent years, the topic of stylistics has received more attention from linguists, text analysts and literary critics. This leads specialists to apply the procedures of stylistics in literary studies in studying literary texts. The present study is an investigation of some of Hemingway’s short stories. It aims at pointing out the distinctive stylistic features of Hemingway’s style in three of his short stories .They are : Hills Like White Elephents, Cat in the Rain, and A Clean Well - Lighted Place. It also aims at showing how the employment of some linguistic devices affects the style of a writer. In the present study, it is hypothesized that Hemingway uses some linguistic and stylistic tools in addition to other fictional techniques in writing short stories which distinguish his style. The present study falls into four chapters. Chapter one is an introduction which presents the problem, the hypotheses, the purpose, the procedures, the limitation of the study, and its value. Chapter two surveys the available literature on style and stylistics. It also explores the relation between stylistics and literary criticism as well as it presents some models of stylistic analysis related to the analysis of prose texts. In addition to that, the chapter shows the characteristic features of Hemingway’s code in writing. Chapter three is a linguistic and stylistic analysis of three of Hemingway’s short stories by applying the linguistic and stylistic categories of Leech and Short’s model (1981). Chapter four presents the conclusions arrived at through the linguistic stylistic analysis in chapter three. It also suggests some recommendations which are supposed to be of benefit for the students of English as foreign language.The most important conclusions arrived at are as follows : 1 - Hemingway employs speech and thought presentation as a means of varying point of view, tone, and distance. 2 - Hemingway employs direct methods of speech presentations more than the indirect ones. In this regard, free indirect speech is the most common method used by the protagonists among the indirect ones.3 - Though Hemingway’s style is obstensively simple, it is effective. This effectiveness is attributed to the use of some stylistic devices and fictional techniques.4 - Hemingway uses key words in order to create a certain effect on the reader. 5 - Hemingway employs forgrounding in short stories in order to make certain details more conspicous6 - The direct observer technique of narration is always used in Hemingway’s short stories.
