Abstract:
The linquistic expression is the most important means of communication, but this means can not transfer the meanings choosen by the poet from the context especially in the old Arabic poetry, because the language in which this poetry was written has a very high standards and from this point of view the thesis was entitled The Context and Semanatics of The Morphological Construct in The Poetry of AL - Abass Iben AL - Ahnaf.The student emphasized on the morphological semantic, because it contain deep meanings that need a lot of interpretation which depends on the context in order to explain the delicate differences of the morphological constructions in the poetry of AL - Abass Then AL - Ahnaf.the thesis contains : introduction, chapters, and conclusion.The introduction : I talked in it about the life of AL - Abass Iben ALAhnaf and quoted the sayings of the scholars about his poetry and studied his personality and his poetry.The Srst chapter : the connection between the morphology and semantics in the context. in this chapter I talked about the definition of the construction as a language and idioms , and the definition of semantics as a language and idiom, and the definition of morphology as a language and idiom and the morphology in the old and contemporary linguists. I mentioned some examples of the semantics and morphology and the definition of the context in the past and the present and the importance of the context in the semantics.The second chapter : this chapter deals with the semantics of the verbs to which some letters were added and the impact of the context on these verbs. I studied the semantics of the most famous kinds of such verbs in the poetry of AL - Abass Then AL - Ahnaf. I depended on the context in the definition of the mentioned verbs. I divided this chapter in to two parts : The flrst part : the verb to which one letter was added and the impact of the context on it.The second part : the verb to which two letters were added and the impact of the context on it.The third part of the thesis deals with the semantics of the construct of names and the impact of the context on them. I divided this chapter inthree parts : The flrst part : the semantics of the construction of the infinitive and the impact of the context on them.The second part : the semantics of the construction of the derived words and the impact of the context on them.The third part : the semantics of the construction of the plural names and the impact of the context on them.
