Abstract: ما يلاحظ في كثير من مدارسنا الاعتماد على الاسلوب نفسه في التدريس وتقديم المادة على الرغم من التطور والتقدم المعلوماتي والتكنولوجي الذي يشهده العالم اليوم حيث ان التركيز منصب على تعليم الطلبة المهارات والمعلومات في مجال العلوم والرياضيات والمواد الانسانية | It is notable in many of our schools the state of relying on the same method in teaching and the submission process of the subjects submission the development of informational and technological progress that the world witnessing nowadays. As highlighting and concentration is applied on teaching students the skills and knowledge in the field of science, mathematics and humanitarian materials throughdiction and conservation, either by depending on assisting the students to think in proper scientific thinking by raising questions and give them time to find the answer for themselvesWhich are almost nonexistent, and we can say that this is what the researcher has recognized during her visit to some schools , furthermore to her experience as a student had gone through this studying stage , she has not noticed any change in the style of teaching and the submission of articles and the scientific materials , as well.The circumstances taking place in Iraqi society is considered a difficult one , which negatively affected in the educational process fact in general and the reality of the educational environment in particular, as the educational environment lacks the stimuli that develop and stimulate creative and the critical of the students thinkingsome things were settled in the reality of the educational environment such as severe neglect of the classes , and the lack of the most basic stimuli motivational types of thinking, then a learning environment has become based on conservation and indoctrination and the absence of educational attitudes and activities and enrichment activities that encourage the creative growth of students as well as the lack of learning atmosphere to an interactive environment, where pupils interact in and exchange the roles and debate with each other's , so the environment of learning is considered an authoritarian environment, as students sitting all in rows and the teacher stands throughout the duration of the lesson in front of them, who makes educational experiences provide them with a traditional routine way limiting the freedom of verbal , kinetic and social expression. Thus the development of creative thinking and the critical thinking has become an important aim in modern education, and the interest and paying attention in thinking is considered a hallmark for the progress of nations, and the civilizations of nations, a well. (Lipman, 1991), as one of the pioneers of teaching thinking , has referred to , to his own experience saying, "I started to think that the problems encountered at the university can not be solved there because thinking is something to be learned early, before thinking habits become entrenched ) the subject of cognition has been interested by General Psychologists because of its direct relevance to the daily lives of people where treats the individual daily with thousands of stimuli that requires him to understand and analysis and immediate response, conducts cognitive processes in conjunction with other psychological operations of the personality like thinking , emotions and language.Hence the problem of the research and its importance has become an urgent need to know how much they secondary school students have owned from the complex thinking for the purpose of speeding upbringing with enhanced way and supporting by thinking skills to solve what are faced with problems in this age And to increase their desire to search for knowledge, on other hand, in all fields which results to grant them with the advantages and benefits through their academic and professional life in and outside educational institutions, and because perceptional speed is considered one of the mental factors that contribute effectively to the success, and in solving problems through awareness and understanding of the problem, which will assist to reach to requirements of a solution quickly, through identifying the connective relationship so the current research has sought to the following : 1 - Identify the complex thinking among secondary school students.2 - Identify perceptional speed among secondary school students.3 - Identify the statistically significant differences in the complex thinking depending on the variable gender (males - females) and specialization (humanitarian, scientific(.4 - Identify statistically significant differences in perceptional speed depending on the variable gender (males - females) and specialization (humanitarian, scientific(.5 - Identify.the correlation between the complex thinking and the perceptional speed among secondary school students for the purpose of measuring the complex thinking and to achieve the objectives of research.So the researcher build critical thinking measure and adopted Khairallah Scale (1981) to reflect the creative and subjected scales procedures methodology used in the construction of tests to make ensure the sincerity and persistenceof the perceptional speed, as well as , the researcher has adopted a measure of Abdul - Jabbar (2010) and subjected it to the procedures of the methodology used in the establishment of tests to ensure the sincerity and persistence.After that , the researcher has applied the scales on the research sample consisting of 500 students from (male and female) in (scientific and humanitarian) of the fifth grade of secondary students were chosen randomly , all of them students from Baghdad / Karkh the first / morning study for the academic year (2014 - 2015).The current research found the following results : 1 - The low level of the complex thinking among secondary school students members.2 - Sample of the Secondary school students are characterized with a good level of perceptional speed.3 - There are statistically significant differences in the level of the complex thinking depending on gender and specialization in favor of males and scientific specialization.4 - There are statistically significant differences in perceptional speed depending on gender and specialization in favor of males and scientific specialization.5 - There is a positive correlation relationship between each of the complex speed and the cognitive thinking.Researcher has achieved several the recommendations and suggestion in light of the current research results
