Abstract:
In this work , we construct a new map in two dimensions which is called the Modified Henon map that is denoted by MH_(a,b) (■(x@y)) =(■(1+ax+cos2πy@by)) has been presented .The dynamics of the MH_(a,b) is introduced. The MH_(a,b) has sensitive dependence on initial conditions and a positive Lypunove exponent (in some conditions ). The attractor of the Modified Henon Map and the Lyapunov dimension as fractal number are determined. The MH_(a,b) has a chaotic strange attractor and a positive topological entropy.
