Abstract:
ان تاريخ العراق القديم لبلاد وادي الرافدين، اعظم حضارة عرفها تاريخ البشرية ومن المؤكد انها اول حضارة انبثقت لتنير صفحات التاريخ باهم وابرز الانجازات التي حققها ابن الرافدين لجميع مجالات الحياة السياسية والاجتماعية والثقافية والفنية، وعليه فقد تشكل عنوان ا | The ancient history of Iraq in the Mesopotamia is the greatest civilization in history of human kind and it is definitely the first civilization which was emerged to enlighten the pages of history with the most important and prominent achievements which were done by the son of the Mesopotamia in the political, social, cultural, and artistic fields of life. Thus, the title of the current research (The art products of the Mesopotamia and its utilization in designing a didactic environment to the students of artistic education dept.) came to include four chapters. The first chapter included the problem of the research and its importance, and it included many questions, the most important of which : The student's ignorance to the indications and artistic symbols of the Mesopotamia, and the lack of an educational environment to the class of the history of art. Thus the research problem has been crystallized in the following question : Is there any educational environment to the history of art class (Mesopotamia) which helps the instructor in teaching the class? The research is important to develop the educational environments to all specialties in the colleges of fine arts and the art institutes and establishing typical educational atmospheres to all specialties in the college. The research aimed at : • Designing an educational environment to the history of art class at the artistic education dept. - college of fine arts - university of Baghdad. • Establishing an educational unit to the vocabularies of the class of ancient history of art in Iraq to the students of the third grade at the dept of artistic education - college of fine arts - university of Baghdad. The research includes : • Third grade students at the dept of artistic education, college of fine arts - university of Baghdad• The products of plastic arts in the Mesopotamia and it includes all prehistoric ages : pottery - Hassona, Samarra'a, Halef, and Al Abeed. • The Sumerian age : the cyclic stamps and the art of architecture. • The Acadian age : Sargon head• The Babylonian age : Hamurabi. • The Assyrian age : the winged ox and the wall painting• The modern Babylonian age : Ishtar gate As for the second chapter, it includes the theoretical aspect and the previous studies. The theoretical frame included the following sections : The first : a brief overview to the history of the Mesopotamia and its ancient ages and the most important plastic art. The second : included designing the educational environment and the factors of its successThe third : is related to the artistic education and its relation to the educational environment of the history of art. The section ends with a group of indications. Chapter three also included the research procedures and its approach in addition to specifying the study community, sample, and tools of research. Chapter four included certain results, the most important of which are : • Teaching the history of art class needs an artificial environment to illustrates the concepts of plastic art and the features of expressive figures of the Iraqi thought and its reflections of creative artistic abilities to the artist of the Mesopotamia • The civilization of the Mesopotamia is one of the most sophisticated and ancient civilizations, and the artistic product confirms the supremacy of the Mesopotamian artist who embodied the daily life in the social, religious and heroic military fields of the kings throughout history. • The superiority and creativity of the Mesopotamian artist in his various artistic performance which included sculpture, drawing, ceramics, and architecture.• Studying the history of art is a study of the roots of civilization which is regarded as the first bricks on which the contemporary and future plastic arts were formed. The researcher concluded : • Spaces and walls which surround the student should be filled in the educational environment to overcome the closeness around the student. • The internal space for any educational environment can fulfill this purpose if it was designed in an interesting way and the furniture and the educational means were distributed in a way that stimulates the student's senses. • Establishing a complementary educational environment which tackles the Nile Valley civilization because it is part of the curriculum of the history of art for the third grade at the dept. of art education. • Establishing different educational environments for all art specialties in the colleges and institutes of arts.
