Abstract:
تناولت هذه الدراسة الوعي بحقوق الانسان الاجتماعية والثقافية لدى الطلبة الجامعيين اذ يعد الوعي بحقوق الانسان من المرتكزات الرئيسة في عملية التنمية البشرية المستدامة في المجتمعات النامية ومن ضمنها المجتمع العراقي لكن على الرغم من ذلك لا تزال الدراسات المتعل | This study examined awareness of social and cultural human rights, of undergraduate students , as is the awareness of human rights of the main pillars in the process of sustainable human development in developing societies, including Iraqi society, but despite that still studies relating to human rights in general few that threw this study is to shed light on the level of awareness of social and cultural human rights , of undergraduate students , the university because of most important social institutions concerned with human rights in community as a reliable graduation of university students conscious of their rights and are committed to their duties towards their community because they are community builders. and leaders in the future. The importance of the because it focused on the knowledge level of awareness of social and cultural human rights , among university students in some colleges in universities of Baghdad , Nahrain , as this study represents the base may establish to other studies in the field of human rights awareness among university students. Researcher relied on an intentional sample of university students in the final phase of their studies in the faculties of Engineering Department (chmical , civil ,architectural) ,and the faculty of Political Science at the University of Bagdad , as well as the same Departments in the faculty of Engineering, faculty of Political Science Department (strategy, international economic relations, international policy, international systems) at the University of Nahrain. As numbered (300) student , the rate of (130)made student , and (170) female students. It was the formulation of five hypotheses of the study which were subjected to test (chi - square) and were discussed to make sure of their credibility or lack of it, the results of the study showed appositive relationship among all five hypotheses.the five hypotheses represent five basic variables which play important inflame on the lucked awareness University students of their social and cultural rights. those variables are : the nature of socialization , the spread of tolerance and the acceptance of others , social and cultural development of society , the suffering of the Iraqi citizens, including university student from the problems of social and cultural in their daily lives, finally deteriorating security situation. It should be here noticed that the current study identified five factors related to awareness of social and cultural rights among university student which drafted in the form of hypotheses for authenticity , but it does not prevent the existence of other factors related to the subject of the current study that can be studied by other researchers in their studies for showing future awareness of those rights. The tools used in the study are basically the questionnaire and also relied on interviews and observations , as well as few statistical methods. At the end of the study the results on the field study, and a number of recommendations and suggestions were displayed.
