Abstract: الاتجاهات محور علم النفس والدراسات السلوكية، لكونها تشكل احد الملامح الاساسية للشخصية الانسانية، ولها ميدان واسع من التطبيقات العلمية في مجالات الحياة المختلفة، وتعد المرحلة الثانوية من المراحل العلمية والاجتماعية الفعالة، لانها تتعامل مع شريحة مهمة وحر | Trends become the focus of psychology and behavioral studies, because they constitute one of the basic features of the personality of humanity, and has a vast field of scientific applications in various fields of life, and longer - secondary institutions, scientific and effective social, because it deals with an important segment and critical of the students' lives (adolescence), and significant impact in building the human figure with its various dimensions of mental, psychological, social, and moral, and create their personal decency balanced which can cross adolescence safely and determine the course of trends, is the misuse of drugs from the most dangerous means by which crash body and soul are common disorders among members of the community, because an individual to commit sins and crime. Fear is the main factor that motivates a person to take the means of escape in order to get rid of it or have some resort to drug abuse, and thus missed the opportunity of opportunities psychological and social compatibility through its interaction with himself and with the environment in which they live. The objectives of the present research to identify the following : 1. Trends of secondary school students about drug abuse. 2. Fears of secondary school students about drug abuse. 3. Psychological and social compatibility among secondary school students about drug abuse. 4. Differences statistically significant trends among secondary school students about substance abuse, depending on the variable sex (male / female). 5. Differences Statistically significant in the concerns of secondary school students according to gender (male / female). 6. Differences Statistically significant in psychological and social compatibility among secondary school students to the variable sex (male / female). 7. The extent of the contribution of the independent variables (fears of secondary school students and their agreement psychological and social) in the total variance of the dependent variable (attitudes towards drug abuse). The research identifies the students of the secondary school for the academic year (2012/2013) on both sides of the secondary school in Baghdad (Karkh and Rusafa), and the sample consisted of (300) male and female students by (183) males and (117) females. Has been applied three metrics are : 1. Scale attitudes towards drug abuse. (Prepared by the researcher). 2. Scale fears of drug abuse. (Prepared by the researcher). 3. Scale of psychological and social compatibility. (Been prepared to suit the current research). Achieved a researcher from the indicators of validity and reliability of the metrics used several statistical methods, including : 1. Samples t - test for two independent samples and one sample. 2. Pearson correlation coefficient. 3. Multiple regression analysis. The results of the research findings : 1. Trends moderate secondary school students about drug abuse. 2. Does not have secondary school students concerns about the misuse of drugs. 3. Found the presence of psychological and social consensus among secondary school students. 4. There are no differences in the trends of secondary school students about drug abuse. 5. There are no differences in the concerns about substance abuse among secondary school students according to gender (male / female). 6. There were no differences in the psychological and social compatibility among secondary school students towards the use of drugs. 7. The contribution of each of the independent variables (concerns secondary school students and their agreement psychological and social) in the total variance of the dependent variable (attitudes towards drug abuse among secondary school students). The results shown by the search progressed researcher a set of recommendations to parents, teachers and those who made the educational process as well as the media in order to sensitize them in an exemplary manner, trying to change students' attitudes toward drug abuse and reduce their fears may help their agreement psychological and social development, and a number of proposals for further research
