Abstract:
The present thesis is directed to study a selected subject from the Holy Book of Allah (all mighty) Al Quran. The book that cannot be altered or changed till the occurrence of the hereafter. The thesis is titled "A subjective study of the concept of fun and play in the Holy Book of Allah (all mighty) Al Quran". I would like to state the following findings from the study : 1. The fun in Arabic language has different meanings such as : - Something you make amusement with or play with and make you busy such as fun things and mirthful. - A boy in the language of Hathramoot - Woman or wife - Songs - Drum and song instruments2. Fun as a term means things that make human busy associated with joy and happiness.3. Play in language means the opposite of serious.4. Play as a term means something that bring joy and happiness.5. Words that has link with the play and fun which are mentioned in the Holy Book of Allah (all mighty) Al Quran can be listed as follows : Dalliance, exiguity, mockery and jeering ) ) Fun and play have positive and negative effects. The major positive effects of play and fun are : - Used as training for human body to make him ready for fighting and to achieve military missions. - preserve a fit body and prevent fatness. - Take away the weariness from human, knowing that human tends to like different things and different states and needs to have a balance in his day life.The major negative effects of play and fun are : losing wealth , times and duties. - - using of ill - gotten wealth because of gambling associated with fun and play. - Initiated disinclination and hostility.6. There are nine verses in the wholly Quran which are dealing with fun. Theses verses were studied in chapter two and the following results are obtained : - The mass scholars state that singing is treated as illegal if it is associated with wrong acts and adultery. And if it is used as a way to make turbulence or a way of not doing a religion orders such as prying. But if it is not associated with the above mention acts , fun can be permissible especially during festival and weeding or to achieve difficult works like trenching and others. - Precautions from any acts that make the heart busy and away from remembering Allah (all mighty) and prying. - show the honor of the profit peace upon him which is the most honor and higher rank by using the past participle tense in talking with the profit. - Allah( all mighty) admonish his profits with out attaching any shortages to them or even under score them in order to be sincerely worshiping him. - The believer should not grantee the wiliness from Allah even though he is a good believer but he should fear him (all mighty). - In hereafter ,people will be at most stage of fear so that their heart raise up to their neck and eyes standstill and the sun become very close to their heads. - Al jumah prying is an obligation to all Muslims so that all of them should go to it early and be prepare to do it in a good manner. - Each thing even though it is right to start with become ill - gotten if it leads to not doing good deeds such as leaving Al jumah prying because of paying and selling. - It is ill - gotten to be busy with children and wealth and loosing the important orders such as prying, fasting and fighting in the regard of Allah( all mighty). - Getting more wealthy and blow is bad. But one can blow with his captivity and good acts so that others can imitate him. - be aware for feeling that you live a long time. - Dispraise the unbelievers because of their missing, playing, and objections. - Show the puzzlement of unbelievers and their miss doing against the profit peace upon him.7. There are fourteen verses in the wholly Quran which are dealing with play. Theses verses were studied in chapter three and the following results are obtained : - play can be permitted in different ways namely in racing, riding horses and shouting with archery. - It is forbidding to give advice for one you thing he is not a good person because he may used it against you. - jealousy can cause damage and hurt to others. - it is an obligation for the father to be fair with his sons and daughters as much as possible. - discourage the blindness following without having evidence or proof. - Bad thing cannot be good even though it has many followers. - The Sura of Al Tauba has different names such as : The shameful ; the excitatory, The dispersive and The unguis. - The mockery with Allah( all mighty) and his religion and his profits is clearly disbelieving and infidelity. - It is forbidding to take Jews and Christian as defenders. - The form of Athain comes according to what Abd Allah Ben Zeid has been seen in his dream which agrees with the seen of the caliph Ommar. - It has been shown that the life of disbelievers even though it seems to be nice and worthy it is in fact nothing but a play, fun and worthless.8. There are six places in the wholly Quran which are dealing with play and fun together in one verse. Theses places were studied in chapter four and the following results are obtained : - In all verses of the wholly Quran play comes first and then fun except in two places. the first one in Surat Al Arraf and the second one is in Surat Al Ankaboot. - Encourage the people to be anchoritic by explaining the truthiness of the life. - Underscore the worthy of life, and the small of its things as a whole. - The life of the world is treated as self - satisfactory person's meal if it is taken you from the hereafter. - It is forbidden to sit next to peoples who make fun from Islam and his legislations, rules and people.
