Abstract:
This thesis deals with the( speech act theory) as the most prominent theories that emerged in the (pragmatics). this theory, founded by the philosopher of the language of Austin and developed by his pupil John Searl, and this theory deals with the achievement of the sentences and words after the pronunciation.The Office of the (diwan of Mohammed Al Haider, the martyr) was chosen as an Arabic literary text in order to explore the achievements in the poetic texts it contains.This study was preceded by three chapters and a conclusion.The introduction of its two articles is important and is closely related to this study.The( first topic) dealt with the life of the poet Sheikh Mohammed Al - Haider, who is the author of the texts in question.The (second section) of the preface provides a brief theoretical introduction to the syntactic and theological aspects of speech.(Chapter I) with his articles dealing with (assertives) and (declrations).The second chapter deals with the (directives) and the (commissives).The third chapter dealt with (expressives) in social and psychological sections.The conclusion included the most prominent findings in this study.The list of sources and references relied upon in this letter was followed
