Abstract:
Generally speaking, the societal services - the education and the health - services in particular are considered basic services that should be available in any city. These services are deeply associated with the level of prosperity a society has. The basic task these services should fulfill is related to addressing the needs of the people interims of quantity and quality.The study analyses the efficiency of the educational and health services in the outskirts of Al - chibaish city (Al - chibaish, Al - hammar and Al - fuhood).The study involves three chapters : the first deals with the theoretical evidence of the educational and health services. The general concept societal services are explained and the concept of education and health services in particular. Besides, the chapter explains the criteria of planning followed in Iraq by the governmental organizations. Some Arabic and World criteria of assessment are tackled. The second chapter tackles the area of study (al - chibaish) explaining the reality of the spatial distribution of educational and health services in the three outskirts mentioned above. The chapter observes the differences between the three outskirts in relation to their spatial distribution.The third chapter conducts an analysis by comparing the reality indexes of the actual health and education services with those of the reliable criteria adopted in this study, besides, the questionnaire is explored and analyzed focusing on questions related to the efficiency of the services.A strategically analysis is used to help understanding the general strategically situation of the facilities concerned in this study. The study shows that some educational and health institutions have very poor efficiency interims of services in all the three outskirts. The gratitude of the current services is estimated. Then the study ends up with some conclusions and recommendations related to the area of study.
