Therefore, the development of modern technologies in the educational process have an impact in achieving the comprehensive development of the learner and increase the expertise of the educational aspect of knowledge and hand skills has led to the development of the instructional design process which is based on the foundations of philosophical, psychological, intellectual and social Achieving stability depends on primarily the suitability of the nature of scientific article and how to achieve the educational objectives and to meet the specific needs of learners. Among the designs of modern education, the design of an instruction manual on according to the theoretical expansion for (Charles Reigeluth 1983), which imparts education expanded may differ from the rest of the teaching methods, the traditional master, and therefore chose the researcher of this theory in the design of evidence for education based on what he referred to studies and research educational resources and literature that dealt with this theory. Accordingly, to achieve the goal of current research following : 1 - Design an instruction manual to give the skills in the art of porcelain composition according to the theoretical expansion for (Charles Reigeluth 1983). 2 - Measuring the effectiveness of the educational designer directory with its two dimensions of knowledge and skills through application to the second stage students in the Department of Art Education - College of Fine Arts - University of Baghdad. For the purpose of verification of the objectives, the researcher added eight hypotheses zero to show results and verified. Was necessary to identify the research community who are students from the second stage - Department of Art Education - Faculty of Fine Arts - University of Baghdad, the study for the year (2009 / 2010), numbering (82) students, where the researcher all the research community as a sample for examination as it was divide the sample into four groups to examine each of the skill one has been subject to experience through their teaching according to the educational requirements of the manual which was prepared according to the theory of expansion. To verify that the objectives of current research and access to the results has been building two types of tests, where he was the first collection of knowledge and the second to measure the performance skills which measured performance skills in accordance with the form promised for this purpose was to verify the authenticity and reliability tests. To show the results of the research was the researcher a set of statistical tools, including the equation (Wilcoxon) to verify the validity of null hypotheses and the equation coefficient of difficulty and discrimination of the paragraphs of the achievement test of knowledge, and equation (Cawdor Richardson / 20) for the stability of the test and equation (Holisti) for the stability of the test skill and find a coefficient of agreement between observers. The results to two conclusions : 1 - The adequacy of the sample in the cognitive achievement test which relates to the dimensional aspect of the cognitive content of the contents of the directory of education. 2 - The adequacy of the sample in the test skills which were taught according to the instruction manual skills in the art of forming pottery on the theory of expansion. The recommendations were as follows : 1 - Adoption of the educational guide designed according to the theoretical expansion for (Charles Reigeluth 1983) in teaching ceramics and planned approach in the Department of Technical Education to prove its effectiveness in giving students the skills profile in the art of ceramics. 2 - Working to create the potential supplies of material and human resources to follow the strategy of expansion such as to provide theoretical time and place and to create equipment and provide advanced training means technically and artistically as well as the processing of raw material (clay), which is the basic material for ceramics. And development of the current research studies the researcher suggests the following : 1 - Designing and testing the instruction manual is designed according to the theoretical expansion for (Charles Reigeluth 1983) on the other subjects of the nature of the skill. 2 - A comparative study between the use of the skill composition of learners in the art of ceramics and other technical skills.
