Abstract:
من خلال اطلاع الباحثة على اغلب دروس الاسكواش في كلية التربية الرياضية وخبرتها كلاعبة ضمن المنتخب الوطني وملاحظاتها الدورات التعليمية للمبتدئين في الاسكواش وجدت ان عملية تعليم المهارات الاساسية يعتمد على استعمال اسلوب واحد وهو (الاسلوب المتسلسل) في تعليم ت | Through the researcher's observation of squash lessons in the college of physical education and by her experience as a player in the national league, it was found that the teaching the basic skills in squash was based on one style which is the serial style. The aim of the study is to identify the effect of using serial, random and mixed exercises on learning the accuracy of some basic skills in squash. In addition to that, it aimed at identifying the best style on learning the accuracy of some basic skills in squash. The researcher hypothesized statistical differences between pre and posttests using serial, random and mixed exercises in the accuracy of squash's basic skills. There are also statistical differences among the types of styles; serial, random and mixed in learning the accuracy of basic skill in squash. The Procedures : The researcher used the experimental method. The subjects were (24) third year students of physical education college/University of Baghdad for the academic year 2011 - 2012. The subjects were divided into three experimental groups. Each experimental group consisted of 8 students. Squash consists of many skills including service, forehand and backhand. The researcher applied right side service tests, forehand shot test and backhand shot test all towards a divided goal. Each group practiced on of the three styles within their teaching program that included 21 teaching session with 2 sessions per week. Each session lasted for an hour and half. The pretests were conducted in on 6/2/2012 in the college of physical education's squash courts. The main experiment ended in 28/4/2012 while the posttests were conducted on 3/5/2012. finally the retention test was conducted after a week from the posttests to identify the students' retention of the basic skills. The data was collected, displayed and analyzed using proper statistical methods. The researcher came up with many conclusions such as using serial, random and mixed exercises has a great effect on learning the accuracy of some basic skills in squash. In addition to that, using serial, random and mixed exercises has a great effect on retaining some basic skills in squash. There are differences in learning the basic skills after using the different types of serial, random and mixed exercises. There are differences in retaining the basic skills after using the different types of exercises; serial, random and mixed. Finally the researcher recommended interconnecting the three styles when learning different skills. In addition to that, using repetitive exercises within the teaching session on regular base to save time. Paying attention to exercises scheduling using exercises that suit the type of skill and the level of the learners as well as the time dedicated for learning that skill. At the end she recommended making similar studies using other types of styles in learning other skills.
