Abstract:
The Research aims to identify the following : 1 - the degree of spiritual intelligence for high school students.2 - Difference in the spiritual intelligence for secondary school studentsaccording to the variables of gender (male - female) and branch (scientific literal).3 - The degree of the cognitive Convictions for high school students.4 - Differences of the cognitive convictions for high school students accordingto the variables of gender (male - female) and branch (scientific - literal).5 - The relationship between Spiritual Intelligence and cognitive convictionsfor high school students.The current research depends on the fifth high school students for themorning study for both branches (scientific - literal) of (females - males) for theacademic year 2015.6 - The difference of the relationship between the spiritual intelligence andcognitive convictions for high school students according to the variables ofgender (males - females) and the branch(scientific - literal).In order to investigate of the goals of this research, the researcher madespiritual intelligence measure according to Emmons definition, and viewingthe literature of previous studies. The measure is consisted of 51 article, andafter applying the measure in its primarily image, the researcher did theanalytical statistic for terms of the measure and elicit its results. So, it wasclear there are four undistinguished articles ,so they have been deleted, andthe final number of articles n its final formula is 47 article, and the researcherelicited the psychometric features of measure. She relied on the ApparentTruthiness, Virtual construction and reliability coefficient by using Retestmethod, and the Reliability coefficient reached to (0,08),and the researcheradopted the cognitive Convictions that had prepared by Schommer1988 aftershe reformulated it to fit with the Iraqi Environment.cThe measure is consisted of 45 article, and after applying the measure in its primitive formula, the researcher did the analytical statistic by eliciting the results, and the results of the articles were distinguished. and the researcher elicited the psychometric features of measure. She relied on the Virtual believe, Virtual construction and reliability coefficient by using Retest method, and the Reliability coefficient reached to (0,08) .Both tools have been applied in their final formula on the sample of the research ,which is about 400 student (females - males),they have been chosen Interim random way of equal distribution of the high school students .After collecting the data and treating them statistically, the researcher reached to the following results , the high school students have a good degree of spiritual intelligence for the benefit of males of scientific branch, good degree of the cognitive Convictions for high school students for the benefit of females of scientific branch , there is a statistical indicator between the spiritual intelligence and cognitive convictions for the sample of the research, There are differences in the relationship of females ,and there are no differences in the relationship between spiritual intelligence and the cognitive convictions .In accordance to the variable of branch ,and according to the results of this research, the researcher came up with many recommendations and suggestions in chapter four.
