The aim of this section to measure the size of each type of risk components of the risk of operating in a sample of Iraqi banks, stemming from the premise that ((The perception of banks for banking risks lead to reduced risk of operating in Iraqi banks, with varied private banks and government in the risk of operational )), so I began research measuring the volume of recognition ran Iraqi banks to risk operating with clarifying how the Iraqi banks with the risk of operational and here is the research problem of poor understanding of Iraqi banks to risk the operational and lack of interest in the management of those banks, the management of banks operating as well as a few tools to counter operational risk, resulting in poor operational risk control measures with varying size of the operational risk in private banks for government banks.And the researcher may use the arithmetic mean and standard deviation of statistical tools to measure operational risk using the Excel program to extract the results.And may reach a researcher to a set of conclusions mainly including the high operational risks in a sample of banks represents a sample of the study and 37% of the total of Iraqi banks, as well as poor awareness of the operational risks and lack of interest in most of the departments of banks to measure risk, operational, generating twice the action taken by banks to address operational risk, and may put the researcher hopes a number of recommendations that when implementedserve the banks and help people interested in the banking sector to identify and measure and counter the effects of operational risk
