Abstract: تصنف الصور الى فئات زمنية تاريخيه مثل الصور القديمة المرسومة والصور الحديثة وهذا التصنيف ليس مجرد نظام للتصنيف الزمني وانما هو تصنيف لصور واضحة ومتميزة من نمط التصوير والاسلوب , وعليه فان هذه الصور التي تغرينا بسحرها ماوصلت الينا الا نتيجة مراحل طويلة من | Images are sorted into historical time categories such as the ancient and the modern image, and this classification is not just a system of time classification ,but it is classified for clear and distinguished image of picturing and style pattern, thus these images that are tempting us of their charm which do not reach us, but as a result of long stages of thinking , production and transformation, the human proceeding considered a textile of diversified developments in their expressions and connotation, and the man proceeding was coincide with continues growth of the image opulence, and the optical heritage along the human history, and the process of seeing theses images and re - presenting this vision being represented as a process via which something replaced another thing or denoted to it as alternative, it was accompanying the man since ancient times with the development of time, the beginning of the digital image with the initial drawings covered the cave walls, then the drawings included in compiles and manuscripts and with the invention of lenses and discovering the picturing opinion embodied at last in the forms of image or what is called at that time the photography, and with the advancement of time, the overlapping of image has become one of the advanced arts via involving the image in the printing world and has become indispensible element and with the appearance of the digital processing, subsequently, the image has started in the printing world and has become element in which the image has transformed into creative work working in the scope of digital processing, subsequently the image has proceeded another trend, working via iconic connotation working in the field of fabrics amongst the women's fabrics, and it is the basic via which the research is moving which is determined with the following question : Does the photographic overlapping and its iconic connotation has effective role in designing the women's fabrics that realized its esthetic and functional dimensions ?The research has contributed via its importance as follow : - 1. It could contribute in detecting the photographic overlapping and its iconic connotation in designing the women's fabrics.2. It could contributed in developing the design performance for the fabrics designers especially in aspects of preparing the idea and generating design subjects raised the Iraqi design level both in form and content.3. It could shedding light on realizing the scientific and artistic utility for the learners and those interested in the design and technical field in the technical and technological colleges and institutes in the specialization ( fabrics design). The research is seeking for realizing the following objectives : 1. Detecting the photo graphic overlapping and its iconic connotation in designing the women's fabrics.2. Set design suggestions in which the photographic overlapping mechanism is mobilized in designing the women's fabrics.The dimensions of the research represented in" designing the women's fabrics which bear design of photographic overlapping of its iconic connotation of( Turkish and Chinese) origin available in the local markets for Baghdad city within the period from 2013 - 2014" The second chapter includes theoretical frame consisted of three categories, the first one displayed the imagegraphic iconic of the image and its role in designing the women's fabrics, and the third category discussed the artistic , appearance ,executive technology and the digital processing in designing the women's fabrics, and then extracting the most important indicators from which the theoretical frame produced followed by the previous studies and discussing them. The procedures of the research was specified within the third chapter via adopting the descriptive approach to analysis the sample models amounted(95) design models, from which excluded(47) design model, being similar and repeated in showing the design content and the color variables which do not realize consistence with the Iraqi society environment, and the remaining was(48) represented the sample of the original research, upon this the selection of the model deliberately of percentage(25%) where the number of the model(12) design models distributed due to the country of origin and the technical appearance. And the instruments of the research have arranged, represented by a form of pivots analysis, depending on the indications of theoretical frame, thus they are arranged by the researcher with the aid of the supervisor, and approved by a number of experts upon which the analyzing of the sample model was done, then obtaining its stability and also analyzing the sample models of the research in the chapter according to the pivot of the form, as for the forth chapter which included the results, and the conclusions the researcher has realized , and most distinguished of them are : 1. The iconic connotations which are considered of the design necessities that are indispensible in designing the women's fabrics being of expressive and esthetic energy and its relation could be controlled to reach more effective results.2. The iconic connotation in the image and its relation with each other especially the color and the space relation with the form ,frame and framing relation, concise, concentration and the perspective.And the chapter it self included the recommendations and suggestions, besides the Arabic and foreign sources, appendixes, abstract, the front page in English language.
