Abstract:
يشتمل الباب الاول على المقدمة واهمية البحث التي تمثلت بتصميم تمرينات تاهيلية للمصابين بالبتر الاحادي تحت الركبة بوساطة جهاز صمم وصنع من قبل الباحثة. وتكمن اهمية البحث في اعادة تاهيل المصابين من حالات البتر الاحادي تحت الركبة ضمن المدة المخصصة للتاهي | The first section includes the introduction and research importance which represented the designing of rehabilitation exercises for the disabled people with unilateral amputation below the knee by using a device created by the researcher. The research importance lies in the rehabilitation of the disabled people with unilateral amputation below the knee within the period specified for such rehabilitation after the amputation surgery and the speedup of their recovery within rehabilitation units synchronized with the work performed on the device designed by the researcher to strengthen the muscles of the intact and amputated legs.The research goals have included : 1. Designing a rehabilitation device in water setting.2. The recognition of the training effects by using the proposed device in water setting in the improvement of some physical abilities for the disabled people with unilateral amputation below the knee.3. The recognition of the training effects by using the proposed device in water setting in the improvement of some kinematics variables and walking.4. The recognition of improvement rates in the physical abilities and biomechanical variables for the disabled people with unilateral amputation below the knee.The research hypotheses included : 1. There are no differences of statistical indications between pre and post examination in the muscle strength test for the legs under water.2. The second section included the theoretical studies which represented the recognition of the disability for the disabled people and their classifications as well. The recognition of rehabilitation programs, changes in the function and building of the muscle and the physical abilities which include muscle strength and flexibility. As for the similar studies, they included the studying of Dunya Saheb Jumaa (2007) and Ghaidaa Abdul Rahman (2009). The researcher has used the experimental method to achieve the study goals. Whereas the research sample included (10) of the disabled people with unilateral amputation below the knee and the researcher has performed the exploratory experiment to (3) people of unilateral amputation in order to understand the compability extent of the exercises to be performed on such sample and to perfect the use of special devices in the examinations in addition to the determination of sufficiency of the assistance team. The researcher has filmed the sample with a video camera in the biomechanics lab\ Medical Engineering Department\ Engineering College - University of Nahrain. The research has resulted to the most important conclusions.1. The results have shown a positive effect of the proposed rehabilitation exercises using the device designed in water setting to the improvement of all physical abilities under research.2. The results have shown a positive effect of the proposed rehabilitation exercises using the device designed in water setting to the improvement of all biomechanical variables of the intact and injured legs in the walking test until tiredness.3. The results have shown a positive effect of the proposed rehabilitation exercises using the device designed in water setting to the improvement of all kinematics variables of the intact and injured legs in the bicycle test outside the water setting. The researcher has concluded many recommendations, most important of which : 1. Reliance on the device designed by the researcher for the measurement and rehabilitation the strength of the muscles working on the hip and knee joints.2. Reliance on the rehabilitation exercises performed on the proposed device which depended on the increase of resistance gradually.3. Reliance on the angles measurement of the range of motion concerning knee joint pre and post rehabilitation
