Abstract:
The importance of the study lies in designing audio - visual compound exercises using varied and random styles to develop accuracy and motor Response speed in some volleyball technical skills. These exercises will improve the accuracy of skill performance and the acquisition of competitive edge that will eventually lead to peak performance and accuracy. The problem of the study lies in the lack of interest in audio - visual compound exercises during training sessions although they are very important in developing the accuracy and the speed of motor response in volleyball skills. These exercises are similar to game situations thus they will enable players to develop these skills as well as their physical traits. In addition to that, coaches do not take into consideration selecting the best style that suit their players during training. The aims of the study : 1. Designing audio - visual compound exercises to develop the accuracy and speed of motor response in some volleyball technical skill using varied and random styles.2. Identifying the effect of audio - visual compound exercises to develop the accuracy and speed of motor response in some volleyball technical skill using varied and random styles.3. Identifying the best style (varied or random and varied - random) in developing the accuracy and speed of motor response in some volleyball technical skill. The Hypotheses of the Study : 1. There are statistical differences between pre and posttests in audio - visual compound exercises in developing the accuracy and speed of motor response in some volleyball technical skill in favor of the posttests.2. There are statistical differences in the posttests of audio - visual compound exercises in developing the accuracy and speed of motor response in some volleyball technical skill. The Procedures : The researcher used the experimental method. The subjects were (32) young volleyball players of the ages 16 - 18 years old. They were all selected from Al Kurkh education league and Al - Shurta club for the season 2013 - 2014). Al - Kurk Education league players were (12) while Al Shurta players were (20) player. The researcher divided them into three experimental groups; one for Al - Kurk education league (12) players, the two other experimental groups consisted of Al Shurta club players each included (10 ) players. The first group represented audio - visual compound exercises using varied style included Al - Shurta club (1), the second group represented audio - visual compound exercises using the random style included Al Shurta club (2). The final group represented audio - visual compound exercises using varied - random styles included Al Kurk education league (3). Finally the researcher concluded the following : 1. Using audio - visual compound exercises using varied style helped in developing the accuracy and motor response speed of some volleyball technical skills.2. Using audio - visual compound exercises using random style helped in developing the accuracy and motor response speed of some volleyball technical skills.3. Using audio - visual compound exercises using varied - random styles was the best styles in developing the accuracy and motor response speed of some volleyball technical skills.4. Using multiple stimuli in one exercise for more than one skill place difficult demands on the motor program of players (game - like situation) yet if used with regular frequency experience will increase thus the time of motor response will decrease. 5. Using different and variable accuracy and motor response speed using audio - visual apparatuses helped in developing the accuracy and speed of motor response of some volleyball technical skills.
