Abstract:
The current Research aims to evaluate (Evaluate the performance of Mathematics teacher according to Marzano sample) the Teacher according to his four fields : Strategies and Class Behavior, the preparation and planning for the Class, Criticizing thinking in Teaching, Colleaguesmanship and Proficiency by answering the following questions : 1 - What is the general Level for the Mathematics Teachers Performance for the performing Teaching Skills according to Marzano sample?2 - What is the general Level for the Mathematics Teachers Performance for the performing Teaching Skills according to Marzano sample in each field?3 - What is the general Level for the Mathematics Teachers Performance in each skill of performing Teaching Skills according to Marzano sample ,and according to his fields ?4 - Is there any statistical significance differences in the level of Mathematics Teachers performance of the performing Teaching skills according to Marzono sample due to Gender Variable?5 - Is there any statistical significance differences in the level of Mathematics Teachers performance of the performing Teaching skills according to Marzono sample due to Scientific qualification?6 - Is there any statistical significance differences in the level of Mathematics Teachers performance of the performing Teaching skills according to Marzono sample due to the Educational Experience?In order to achieve the aim of the Research, the researcher did many theoretical procedures groups represented by displaying the theoretical background of the research related with the research variables, and guided with a group of studies related with the Research subject, in addition to the practical and application procedures represented by the following : First : Identify the Scientific community with Mathematics teachers in Wassit Province Center for the Academic year 2013 - 2014, and their number was 490 teacher (male, female) , the choice of research sample was randomly with rate (%20) from the community that includes 98 teacher (female, male), fourteen were Mathematics teachers(male) and 84 mathematics teacher(female), and they are different in Scientific qualification and years of Educational experience.Second : Translate the fields sample of Marzano to Arabic Language, and elicitation the translation truthiness by displaying it to the specialized experts.Third : Display the translated sample on the specialized experts to identify its range of appropriation to evaluate the Mathematics teacher performance, and his appropriation for the Iraqi Educational Environment.Fourth : Prepare Teaching performance skills list according to the Marzano sample indicators for each field of his four fields with its branch elements, and checking truthiness by displaying it on the specialized experts.The experts agreed on 56 Teaching performance skill distributed on these fields.Fifth : The researcher relied on the to evaluate the Mathematics Teacher performance (direct remark) , so he prepared a specific application for this performance. It consisted of two section, the first one includes general information, and the second one includes an evaluation of Mathematics Teachers performance for the Teaching performance skills list that had previously prepared by the Researcher, that formed the content of remark application in its four fields and distributed as the following : Strategies and Class Behavior(36) skill, the preparation and planning for the Class(8) skills, Criticizing thinking in Teaching(5) skills, Colleaguesmanship and Proficiency (7) skills.The researcher identified the performance levels for each skill by using and estimation balance includes five alternatives, and one of them will be used in observing the teacher performance, and these alternatives are(Excellent, very good, good, medium, poor),and every alternative of these alternatives has given a degree between 1 - 5.In order to limit the imminence of evaluating the observant for the Teacher performance, and making the evaluation process more objective, the researcher described the performance level for each skill of the skills that included in the application.After that, It has been investigated the truthiness of tool in the measure of what had prepared for by relying on the apparent truthiness by displaying it for experts, and the construction truthiness by finding the internal constant for the terms of application by using Berson correlation coefficients, then elicit the reliability coefficient for the research tool in two methods, the first one is the Retest, and the second one is Alpha Kronbak equation.The reliability coefficient of the two methods were very good, then the researcher elicited the correction reliability for the notice application, which is called(Agreement between Residents) by using Berson correlation coefficients. The rates of Agreement between the residents were very good.So the tool was produced with final formula to make the final application process with using a group of statistical instruments to reach the results of the Research such as the likely average, primitive test, Unilateral variance analysis and Shefeh Test. The main results of that are : 1 - The performance of Mathematics teacher for the Teaching Skills performance according to Marzano sample in general wasn’t reach to the required level according to the present measurement.2 - The performance of Mathematics teacher in Vocational Colleague manship was accepted in general, and their performance in other fields in thenotice application was substandard , and the criticized thinking field was weaken than these fields in performance.3 - There was no Statistical significance differences on level(0,05) between the Arithmetic's centers for the performance degrees of Mathematics teachers, and the Arithmetic's centers for the performance degrees of Mathematics teachers(females) for the included skills in the notice application.4 - There was a Statistical significance differences on level(0,05) between the Arithmetic's centers for the performance degrees of Mathematics teachers of the included skills in the notice application due to their difference in the Scientific qualification.5 - There was no Statistical significance differences on level(0,05) between the Arithmetic's centers for the performance degrees of Mathematics teachers of the included skills in the notice application due to their difference in the Scientific experience.According to these results, it has reached to a group of recommendations such as : 1 - Relying on teaching performance skills that were identified in the present research of the teachers, and take a benefit in evaluating their performance inteaching the Mathematics material in the Primary stage.2 - The continuous observation of the teacher by their school managers and Educational specialist during the vocational growth in performance and Educational Sufficiency.In order to permanence of the Scientific research, the Researcher proposes to make some studies such as : 1 - Making an Evaluation study discussing the teachers performance of other specialties according to Marzano sample to evaluate the teacher.2 - Making a study that discusses the evaluation of preparing and training programs for Mathematics teachers
