Mustansiriya University / College of Arts / Library and Information Department (Theses) supervised by Dr. Asmaa Noori Said AL - Hadithi , Baghdad, 2012, P171.Key words : Iraqi virtual science library, virtual libraries , application (LibHub) , Application (ELEN).The study aimed to measure the level of use and benefit from the Iraqi virtual science library by the beneficiaries in the (University of Baghdad , AL - Mustansiriya University , University of Technology, AL - Nahrain University) to engineering colleges, science affiliate, the study also aimed to cognition the Search interfaces That was used and currently used in Iraqi virtual science library , The study sample included (stratified sample proportional) (340) beneficiary from the four universities where the sample Baghdad University (139) beneficiary and Mustansiriya University (38) beneficiary and the University of Technology (119) beneficiary, and AL - Nahrain University (44) beneficiary, the study use survey method , with data collection tools presented questionnaire and interview and observation, statistical methods were used (weighted arithmetic mean, the middle hypothesis, measuring the amount of the gap and extract the percentage corresponding to the amount) in the analysis of the results of the questionnaire.The study found a number of important results : 1 - Most of the beneficiaries are using library (LibHub) over than use of publishers 'websites because ease of use search and display the results directly contrary to the publishers' sites that require several steps during the search process.2 - The level of use the Iraqi virtual science library in most Iraqi universities study sample is higher than the level of benefit due to lack of knowledge of the majority of the beneficiaries most of the services provided by the Iraqi Virtual Science Library. 3 - marked by technological university for the rest of the universities where the level of use comparable to the level of benefit, as distinguished from the rest of the universities to establish a database of the names of members of the university for the purpose of facilitating and accelerating the process of identifying the beneficiaries during their registration in the Iraqi virtual science library.The study also came out with a number of recommendations, including : 1 - Increase the number of courses and lectures being the most successful to cognition the beneficiaries about the Iraqi Virtual Science Library and the need to accomplish an instruction manual to use the publishers' sites in the Iraqi virtual science library . 2 - The study recommended the need to adopt the experience of the University of Technology in the field of education beneficiaries use the library Iraqi virtual science library and benefit from the contents, especially publishers' sites, as recommended by the study to benefit from its own database to facilitate the process of identifying beneficiaries and verification of affiliation of colleges and departments of the University directly and not to delay registration process and activate the subscription. 3 - The need for the Commission to task when discussing negotiating with publishers to emphasize the need to provide the full text of articles and researches through their sites because of them and for some disciplines offers only bibliographic data to search with Abstract.
