Abstract: من المعلوم ان للتربية اساس في صنع الانسان الملتزم السوي القادر على المشاركة بفاعلية في مجتمعه، ان تطور العلوم والتكنولوجيا الحديثة اثرت على الحياة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية، وكذلك اثرت في تطور التربية وطرائق التدريس وتدريس المفاهيم في المواد الدراسية، حيث | Education has important role in building a good man who is able to participate in his society actively. Because of the developing the sciences; such as, - recent technology, especially, economy sociology, education,, educational methods and teaching the concepts in the studying lessons. - Many of the educational scientists considered teaching; one of the essential bases of good comprehension for scientific subjects and social subjects, especially Geography.The researcher observed by his educational experience that many geographical concepts, still not clear, in spite of moving the students for higher educational stages for this, the importance of 'this research has been appeared through the concentration of teaching concepts exactly, by the educative thinking which the researcher had adopted it.The research aimed to know "The effect of using "Hilda Taba modula in acquiring the geographical concepts and comprehend geography from the second stage students in intermediate school'" According achieving these two hypo.theses : - 1 - There is no statistical different at meaning range (0.05) in the medium degrees of acquiring the geographical concepts, between the experimental studying group according to the traditional procedure.2 - There is no statistical different at meaning range (0.05) in the medium degrees of tendency towards geography between the experimental studying group according to "Hilda Taba Modula" and the checking group students according to the traditional procedure. The searcher chose ''Tariq Bin Ziyad" intermediate school in AL - Tahreer Q, Ba'aquba city.To achieve his experiment, he followed partial checking experiment design, (experimental group and checking group and further test". The research sample is (62) pupils, (31) for one group, then the researcher made the differences' evaluation in "age, Intelligence, pre - knowledge, the educational degrees for the parents and the pupils'1 tendency towards the subject.By using (T - Test) for two separated samples and a chi - square". / The achieving of the experiment began in 23/2/2004 to 6/5/2004, the esearcher taught Ihe two groups, and made further test consisted on (40 items) a multi - pule choice item). To know the range of acquiring thegeographical concepts.He found the truth , difficulty element, qualification strength and 'the - activity of the false choices for every item.He found the firmness of the experiment by half partial method by using person connecting element and re - correct its firmness by Speriman - Brown equation it was (0.89).The researcher achieved the doubled test (T - test) on the two groups bythe truth and firmness by using re — testing procedure.The researcher practised the test in the end of the experimental in 5/5/2004 and the tendency measurement in 6/5/2004, The results had been analyzed statistically by using the doubled test (T - Test) for separated samples. The results had appeared statistical difference in medium degrees of : - 1 - The experimental group and the checking group, for the experimental benifet in acquiring the geographical concepts.2 - The experimental group and the checking group, for the experimental benifet in the tendency of geography.The researcher had presented some Deductions, Recommendations and Suggestions."The Research er” : - "Bassim Abdul - Jabbar Kadhim"
