Abstract:
The importance of the study lies in the fact that it is a new attempt in thefield of youth soccer by transferring team competitive style to sport activitiesand including it in practice scheduling to improve the methods of teachingsoccer and studying the benefits of this transformation. The problem of the study lies in the lack of coaches' knowledge of teamcompetitive style and the rare use of its application in the practical field. Inaddition to that the researcher realized that the skill practices during training donot match that during the real game. There are no studies in the Iraqi librariesthat analyze team competitive style along with practice scheduling styles. The aims of the study : 1. Preparing and applying a teaching program for team competitive stylewith practice scheduling in soccer.2. Identifying the effect of team competitive style and practice scheduling onphysical, motor and skill abilities.3. Identifying the differences between results of some physical, motor, andskill abilities in soccer. The Hypothesis of the study : 1. There are significant statistical differences between team competitivestyle, practice scheduling, and physical, motor and skill tests.c2. There are significant statistical differences between pre and posttests invaried practice in favor of posttests in physical, motor and skill abilities.3. There are significant statistical differences between pre and posttests inconstant practice in favor of posttests in physical, motor and skill abilities.4. There are significant statistical differences between pre and posttests indistributed practice in favor of posttests in physical, motor and skillabilities.5. There are significant statistical differences between pre and posttests inززززز practice in favor of posttests in physical, motor and skill abilities.6. There are significant statistical differences between pre and posttests invariables understudy.Chapter Two ( Review of Literature) : The researcher tackled in details the competitive style and practicescheduling types. He also specified four similar studies related to thisdissertation's variables.Chapter Three (Procedures) : The researcher used the experimental method. The subjects were (40)players divided into four experimental groups (all from Al - Shula youth club). The researcher selected his own tests and they were three for each ability, physical abilities (hoping for maximum distance in 10 seconds, 30m runningtest, and sergeant test), motor abilities tests (numbered circles test, Paro test, anddynamic flexibility test), and skill tests (receiving and passing, straight andzigzag dribbling to and fro, and stopping and trapping the ball). The results werecollected and treated using SPSS.dChapter Four (Display of Results) : The results were displayed in tables showing pre and posttests results of allfour groups. Then the results were analyzed and discussed thoroughly.Chapter five (Conclusions & Recommendations) : Conclusions : 1. The teaching program has a positive effect using competitive team styleand practice scheduling.2. There significant difference between pre and posttests in favor of posttestsin improving some physical, motor, and skill abilities in soccer testsunderstudy.3. There is variance in the level of some soccer basic skills' improvement inthe first group (team competitive style / varied style) and the third group(team competitive style/ distributed).4. The results showed significant differences among the four groups in allnine tests understudy.Recommendations : The researcher recommended the following : 1. The necessity of using team competitive style in training and teachingplayers the basic skills of soccer.2. Making a study about team competitive style and practice schedulingtypes (random and serial - physical and mental)3. Making similar studies using team competitive style and practicescheduling on different age groups in other sports.4. Making training courses for Iraqi school coaches to inform them of thedifferent types of practice scheduling and how to use them in training.5. Benefiting from this dissertation's results when coaching young soccerplayers in Iraq.
