Abstract: In the name of Allah, the most gracious the most merciful All praise to Allah, the lord of the worlds and peace be upon the last of prophets and messengers and upon his pure household….After putting trust in God, we determined to write this thesis, and by help of Allah I used the holy Quran as a way pursuing in my high study of master, so the clues were the focus of this study and the thesis came under title (the effect of clue in determining the indicative relationships in the Quranic text. In this study, I have touched on the importance of clue in finding out the required, and its role in removing the ambiguity that which may go on some of them on the first place, and this is the way which has been taken by interpreters in explaining the holy Quran. This research paper consists of introduction, preface and three chapters, followed by conclusion which included the most important findings reached to by this paper. The preface included two matters, the first discussed the clue in language and term in addition to the definitions which had been mentioned by the ancients and narrators and the types of clues and their divisions by scientists. The 2nd discussed the relation between pronunciation and meaning and the force associating them, hence the paper came under title the indicative relations. Chapter one sheds light on (the clue effect on tandem relation) and it was in two topics : the first (the synonymously in language) including the definition of sequence as a language and as a term, and referred also to the ancient's opinions both the confirmed and agnostics supplied by clues for each one, then I referred to what the narrators studied concerning this matter. The 2nd is devoted to the effect of the clue on the sequence relation and its role in this phenomenon.Chapter 2 is devoted to (the effect of clue on the common verbal) which was in two topics : the 1st concerned with common verbal in language starting from the linguistic definition including the opinions of the confirmed and agnostics which was studied by Arab and west narrators and ending with studying this matter in the holy Quran. The 2nd topic discussed the effect of the clue in determining the required meaning. Chapter 3 came under title (the effect of clue in the opposite relation) which was in two topics : the 1st discussed the opposite relation from the linguistic view, while the 2nd is the effect of clue and its role in revealing the required meaning. Finally came the conclusion which included the findings reached to by this paper.many - multi resources are included in this paper beginning with the linguistic dictionaries ,different interpretations , books of Quran meanings and recent references, etc…
