Abstract:
والى التطور السريع في لعبة كرة القدم وعدها لعبة تنافسية، وهذا نتيجة للاهتمام ب | Soccer is a very fast game and it is considered highly competitive and this development in the sport is due to the great attention to that sport. Athletic training plays a great role in developing this sport. The importance of the study lies in identifying the effect of a proposed training program using compound exercise (competitive style) to develop the speed of performing some offense skills in soccer on young soccer players of the ages 17 - 18 years old. The problem of the study lies in coaches using the traditionally training style that does not focus on speed of performance a matter that does not suit the demands of the sport. Soccer is a fast sport and it requires speed in performing al types of skills especially in offense. The aim of the study is to handle this problem by including speed to skill performance. The Aims of The Study : 1. Designing compound exercises (competitive style).2. Identifying the effect of using compound exercises (competitive style) to develop the speed of performing some offensive skills in soccer for players of the ages 17 - 18 years old.Hypotheses of the Study : 1. There are significant statistical differences between pre and posttests for controlling and experimental groups.2. There are significant statistical differences between controlling and experimental group in posttests in favor of experimental group. The Procedures : The researcher used the descriptive method. The subjects were (20) players selected randomly from 32 Al Senaa Soccer club of the ages 17 - 18 years old. The subjectes were divided into two equal groups of 10 players. The physical pretests were conducted on both groups on Sunday 9/5/2010 while skill tests were conducted on Monday 10/5/2010. the researcher used many tests including the following : 1. Nelson's Motor Response test.2. 30m running test.3. 20m ball dribbling test.4. 20 sec passing test.5. 10sec kicking towards a goal test. The main experiment was conducted on Wednesday 12/5/2010 till Sunday 25/7/2010 for 10 weeks with two training sessions per week. The total sum of training sessions was 20. Finally the researcher conducted the posttests for both groups on Tuesday 27/7/2010 and skill tests on Wednesday 28/7/2010. The collected data was treated using SPSSConclusions : The researcher came up with the following conclusions : 1. Training according to competitive style and the traditional style had a great positive effect on developing the speed of performing some offensive skills in soccer.2. Using compound exercises with competitive style has a great effect on developing the physical abilities and characteristics of players that led to a great development in the level of performance speed in soccer. Recommendations : 1. Stressing the use of compound exercises using competitive style due to their positive effect on the development of performance speed of some offensive skills in soccer.1. The new competitive style proved its positive effects on developing some offensive skills in soccer. This study is considered an invitation for all researchers to come up with new ideas to develop the basic skills of their sports
