Abstract: Abstract
An experiment was conducted in a private fields in Alhaidariya, Al-Najaf province , to study the influences of adding biostimulative Bio health and spraying Salicylic acid in growth parameters and yield of potato crop c.v (Bellini). during spring and autumn seasons 2014. Four levels of Biohealth (0,2000,4000,6000) g.ha-1 and three concentrations of Salicylic acid (0,75,150) mg.l-1. Experiment was adopted as Randomized Complete Block Design (R.C.B.D) . with three replicates Means were compared by Duncan Multiple Rang test at the level of probability of 0.05.
Results showed the superiority of the treatment with biostimulative (Biohealth) at level 6000 g.ha-1 and spraying with Salicylic acid at concentration of 75 mg.l-1 in (plant length, number of leaves , aerial stems, total leaf area, dry weight, leaves chemical elements contain, yield and quality of tubers characteristics) as compared to control treatment which gave the lowest values for both spring and autumn Season. Moreover Salicylic acid significantly affected all growth parameters and 150 mg.L-1 was superior on all parameters as compare to control treatment. Concerning the interaction the results show that treatment with Biohealth and Salicylic acid at concentration (6000 g.ha-1 x 75 mg.l-1) have significant affect on vegetative growth system, chemicals and yield parameters, Furthermore, the results were summarized as fallow :
1- Growth parameters
The interaction treatment (6000 g.ha-1 x 75 mg.l-1) signifectlly gave the highest plant height of (86.00 and 76.70) cm.plant -1. and leaf per plant (81.10 and 73.93) leaf .plant-1 and (6.60 and 6.33) stem .plnt-1, highest leaf area per plant of (2833.80 and 2509.28) cm2.plant -1 and total dry weight of vegetative part (85.67 and 79.00) g .plant-1 for both spring and autumn Season respectively .
2- Yield parameters
The combination treatment (6000 g.ha-1 x 75 mg.l-1) affected significantly increased the plant yield, average tuber weight and total yield per unit area which reached (0.884 and 0.756) kg. plant -1, (97.00 and 85.00) g and (46.66 and 40.32) t.h-1 for both spring and autumn Seasons respectively. Concerning the number of tubers, (6000 g.ha-1 x 150 mg.l-1) treatment gave highest number of tubers reached (13.18) in spring season as compare to (6000 g.ha-1 x 75 mg.l-1) which gave (12.05) in autumn Season.
3- Chemical indicators .
The significantly highest Chemical consist such as chlorophyll (75.90 and 63.45) mg.100gm-1, total nitrogen 2.82 and 2.40 %, phosphor 0.911 and 0.841%, potassium 3.01 and 2.86 % ,carbohydrates 2.97 and 2.82 % was found in the interaction treatment (6000 g.ha-1 x 75 mg.l-1) for both Seasons respectively as compared with control treatment ..Moreover the combination treatment gave minimum (0.97) mM.g-1 of proline acid in autumn Season only .
4- The tubers quality characteristic .
The highest percentage of dry biomass,19.15 and 18.83% , and specific density 1.074 and 1.073, and percentage of protein 1.56 and 1.50%, and starch 13.06 and 12.78% were found in interaction treatment (6000 g.ha-1x75 mg.l-1),for both spring and autumn Season respectively
