Abstract:
The work in this thesis has been described as follows : First : synthesis and characterization of the three Schiff bases ligands (HL1,HL2 and L3) by condensation of Cephalexin mono hydrate, Ampicillin tri hydrate and Sulfamethoxazole antibiotics respectively with 2,4 - Dimethoxybenzaldehyde (as shown in the table below) containing (N,O,O) as donor atoms types [(NOO - for HL1 & HL2 ) and (N O)] of (L3).Symbol Chemical formula Schiff bases derived fromHL1C25H25N3O6 SCephalexin mono hydrate + 2,4 - Dimethoxybenzaldehyde HL2C25H27N3O6 SAmpicillin tri hydrate + 2,4 - Dimethoxybenzaldehyde L3C19H19N3O5 SSulfamethoxazole + 2,4 - DimethoxybenzaldehydeThe synthesized ligands (HL1, HL2, L3) were characterized by using (mass spectrometry), (1H NMR), (FT - IR) and (U.V - Vis) spectra as well as (C.H.N.S) elemental analysis and melting point. According to the results obtained from different technics in above, the molecular modeling of the proposed structures of ligands were drawing by using Cs Chem 3D Ultra program package (2006). In order to assess their antimicrobial and their bio potency has been discussed.4 - Study the effect of the ligand and some prepared mixed - ligand metal complexes toward activity of two type of enzymes (GOT and GPT).
