تعد ستراتيجية المعرفة ما وراء الادراكية احد الستراتيجيات التعليمية الحديثة ومن اهم عوامل التعلم الناجح، فهي تساعد المتعلمين على التعلم الذاتي ورفع مستوى الوعي لديهم الى الحد الذي يؤدي الى بلوغ الهدف، ويتحقق ذلك من خلال مجموعة من الاجراءات التي يقوم بها ال | Para perceptive strategy is considered one of the modern teaching strategies and is the most important factor for successful learning. This strategy helps students to learn by themselves and to uplift their level of awareness to the extent that allows them to achieve their aims. These strategies include a series of activities and cognitive procedures that can be used before and after learning. The importance of the study lies in using para perceptive cognition strategy in risky vs. careful students in learning underarm serving, upper arm serving, forward setting and float under serve and float upper serve. The problem of the study was that traditional volleyball teaching program does not contain the important strategies that give the student an active role in the learning process. The traditional style relays heavily on spoon feeding information to students without paying attention to their individual differences especially in cognitive style risky vs. careful students. Aims of The Study : 1. Designing skill tests to measure the level of artistic performance (technique) for some basic skills in volleyball.2. Designing skill exercise to teach some basic skills in volleyball.3. Designing aiding tools to teach some basic skills in volleyball.4. Identifying the effect of learning according to para perceptive cognition strategy and the proposed program for risk vs. carefulness in learning basic skills of volleyball.5. Identifying the effect of learning according to para perceptive cognition strategy and the proposed program for risk vs. carefulness in retaining the basic skills of volleyball.Hypotheses of the Study : 1. There are statistical differences in the effect of learning according to para perceptive cognition strategy and the proposed program for risk vs. carefulness between pre and posttest in learning basic skills of volleyball.2. There are statistical differences in the effect of learning according to para perceptive cognition strategy and the proposed program for risk vs. carefulness in posttest in learning basic skills of volleyball.3. There are statistical differences in the effect of learning according to para perceptive cognition strategy and the proposed program for risk vs. carefulness in retention test in learning basic skills of volleyball. The Procedures : The researcher used the experimental method. The study was conducted on (30) second year college of physical education students/health and recreation department/ university of Baghdad of the academic year 2009 - 2010. The researcher conducted two tests cognitive style scale (risk vs. carefulness and skill tests. After applying cognitive style scale the subjects were divided into two groups; experimental and controlling (risky and careful). After the pretests the teaching program was applied. It included (24) teaching session for each group with (3) teaching sessions per week. Each session lasted for (90) minutes. Posttests and retention tests were conducted after the completion of the teaching program. Conclusions : 1. The teaching programs (Para perceptive cognition strategy and the traditional program in the college) were effective in teaching the basic skills in volleyball.2. The proposed teaching program according to Para perceptive cognition strategy proved its importance and effect in students with risk vs. careful students in learning and retaining some basic skills in volleyball compared to the traditional program followed by the college.3. The proposed teaching program according to Para perceptive cognition strategy for risky and careful students is appropriate due to its positive effect on learning and retaining some basic skills in volleyball. Recommendations : 1. Using the proposed a teaching program according to para perceptive cognition strategy in learning the basic skills of volleyball to second year college students of the physical education colleges in all Iraqi universities.2. The possibilities of teaching institutions in the ministry of higher education benefiting from this study to build teaching programs according to Para perceptive cognitive strategy to uplift the level of university students.3. The necessity of teachers from all colleges of physical education in Iraqi universities mastering all cognitive styles that the students possess due to their great importance in achieving the best results in teaching basic volleyball skills.
